We’re offering a variety of seminars in 2016 for even more audiences. Whether you’re a parent of a child with a disability, a Baby Boomer wanting to prepare your home, or a professional looking for resources for your clients, we’ve got the right seminar for you! 2016 seminars include:

Aging-in-Place: Focus on the Bathroom. Seniors and caregivers can learn how to modify their bathrooms for safety and discover best practices and resources. Two-thirds of falls in the home happen in the bathroom; with the right features, these falls can be prevented.

  • NOVEMBER 2016 – Accessibility 301: Understanding Individual Needs. Designed for caregivers and social workers, this seminar covers the important home accessibility features that fit the needs of your client or loved one and resources to help with understanding and assessing those needs.

Designed for real estate agents, this continuing education course covers the basics of home accessibility and how to work with buyers in need of accessibility features, including seniors looking to age in place.
  • Accessibility for volunteers with physical disabilities. This presentation covers basic accessibility and other considerations for nonprofit organizations that work with people with physical disabilities, including volunteers, Board members, consumers, and staff.
